Custom Planned Ceremony
This is my most personal ceremony option. Every word is written from a blank page, shaped around who you are as a couple, how you met, and what you want your wedding day to feel like.
It's the right choice when you want more than a beautiful ceremony template. Together we build something original: your story, your traditions (including blended cultures or faiths), and any special rituals or readings woven in the way you imagine them.
Everything you'll receive
- Initial consultation to bring your vision to life
- Unlimited virtual or telephone meetings
- Custom-written ceremony reflecting your story
- The Ceremony Blueprint, a dedicated space to dream and plan
- Special element options like sand blending, wine sharing, or new traditions
- Help writing your personal vows
- Draft ceremony provided for review
- Expert officiation with warmth and professionalism
- Comprehensive marriage licence and certificate guidance
- Completion and submission of all legal documents
- A keepsake folder with your finalized ceremony
Best For
- Couples who want their ceremony written entirely from scratch, not adapted from a template.
- Multicultural, interfaith, or blended-family couples weaving traditions together.
- Couples adding special rituals — sand blending, wine sharing, handfasting, or something new.
Good questions, honest answers
Most couples book 8 to 14 months ahead, especially for peak season (May to October). I'm now booking into 2026 and 2027. That said, please never feel your wedding is too close to reach out — as long as I have availability, I'm happy to take a booking even for the very next day. Once your date is reserved, we begin shaping your ceremony at your pace.
Absolutely. As a non-denominational officiant, I welcome and honour traditions of all kinds: sand or wine ceremonies, handfasting, family blessings, multi-language readings, and brand new rituals you create together.
Yes. I serve Durham, York, Peterborough/The Kawarthas, and Northumberland. Up to 60 km of return travel is included in standard pricing; beyond that, including parts of North Durham, a travel fee applies and is always quoted up front, never as a surprise.
